Why does birth spacing mean a brighter future for your family?

In the Quran, Allah says, “The mothers shall give suck to their children for two years, for those who desire to complete the term of suckling.” Al Baqara/verse 233. Birth Spacing is very important. Waiting at least 2 years to conceive again, lowers the risk of preterm birth, the leading cause of infant death. A mother’s body needs time to recover by replacing nutrients lost during pregnancy, which both she and the baby depend upon for a healthy pregnancy, birth, and life. It also lowers the chances of the child having other physical and mental health issues.

The woman will have more time to breastfeed her child meaning a healthier child and mother and family👩‍👧.

Birth spacing means families have more time to spend with their children and can think about their future calmly, including how many children to have. They can plan their family size according to their budget and have less financial stress in their lives.
